On 3rd February
2018 the Department of
Physics and Electronics organized
“ Workshop on Bhuvan Panchayat
” in collaboration with National Remote Sensing Centre /ISRO. The
resource person for this workshop is Ms
Vijay Banu ,Manager, Bhuvan Technology Incubation outreach, RC, NRSC/ISRO.
All
the Electronics & Physics students of I ,II & III B.Sc attended this workshop and gained knowledge related to
various services provided by Bhuvan for rural development and also for
different ministries .
A practical session was conducted in
which the Physics project students of II B.Sc M.P.C had hands on experience of
uploading pictures and data base to Bhuvan geoportal using Android mobiles through Bhuvan
Panchayat App .On the whole it was a very informative and interactive session igniting and inspiring young minds to take up
the responsibility of providing data base for rural development through Bhuvan Panchayat .The students are instructed
to upload the data of Gavaravaram
Panchayat to Bhuvan Geoportal .
