Work Shop

·       On 3^rd  February  2018 the Department of Physics and Electronics organized

   “  Workshop on Bhuvan  Panchayat  ” in collaboration with National Remote Sensing Centre /ISRO. The resource person for this workshop is Ms Vijay Banu ,Manager, Bhuvan Technology Incubation outreach, RC, NRSC/ISRO. 

            All the Electronics & Physics students of I ,II & III B.Sc attended  this workshop and gained knowledge related to various services provided by Bhuvan for rural development and also for different ministries .

            A practical session was conducted in which the Physics  project students  of II B.Sc M.P.C had hands on experience of uploading pictures and data base to Bhuvan geoportal  using Android mobiles through Bhuvan Panchayat App .On the whole it was a very informative  and interactive  session  igniting and inspiring young minds to take up the responsibility of providing data base for rural development  through Bhuvan  Panchayat .The students are  instructed  to upload  the data of Gavaravaram Panchayat to Bhuvan Geoportal . 

Internship program

From 31^st January  to 6^th February 2018 the students of Electronics cluster are attending an  Internship program on “Embedded  systems and its Concepts ” at MicroLink Peripheral Controls (P) Ltd, Vijayawada accompanied by the faculty of Electronics .

Students Acievements

·         On 22^nd &23^rd January   2018 Nine of our students participated in different events in “RESONANCE 2K18”  National level   Academic competitions for UG students on “Advances in Functional Materials and their Applications” sponsored by Indian Association of Physics Teachers   organised by Andhra Loyola college Physics Association , Vijayawada .Under the guidance of our  faculty of Physics & Electronics   the following students bagged prizes in 3 events .
