- · On 7th Feb 2015 an interactive session on “Satellite communication” by Dr. RaghavaMurthy Director, Earth observation systems, ISRO was organised by the department in which all the final year M.E.C students ,M.Sc Physics students of Sir C.R.R.College , Engineering students from various colleges in and around Eluru participated actively and clarified their doubts regarding satellite launching and its applications.
-   On 12th Feb 2015 a  Guest lecture
     on “ADC & DAC interfacing
     with 8051 microcontroller ” by Dr.Karna Venkateswarulu ,H.O.D 
     of  Electronics ,Y.N.College  ,Narasapur   was
     organised by the dept of physics & Electronics for the final year
     Electronics and M.Sc Physics students at 1:30 P.M in the media centre.
- A
     guest
     lecture was given on 20th February
     2015 in media centre by Prof.K.Samata, Andhra University. She gave a lecture on “Application of statistical mechanics in
     Non Ideal Classical Gas”. All the final year students along
     with staff attended the lecture. She explained, application of Partition
     function for low densities, Phase transitions, First order and second
     order phase transitions, Equation of state and viral coefficients.

     Guest lecture was organized by the Dept. of Physics & Electronics on “Determination
     of Ultrasonic velocities using interferometer” by Dr.P.Diwakar , Lecturer
     in Physics, Sir C.R.R. College(A) , Eluru .In
     this session all the project students of III B.Sc. participated. He has
     explained in detail all the parts of Interferometer and also demonstrated
     the determination of ultrasonic velocity of a liquid by using Ultrasonic
     interferometer.      
- On 20.08.15 a Guest lecture was organized by the Dept.
     of Physics & Electronics on “Modern trends in electronic Communications”                by Sri .P. Kalee Prasad, Senior Engineer,
     Doordharshan kendra, Vijayawada.
 
- On 20.08.15 a Guest lecture was organized by the Dept.
     of Physics & Electronics on “Modern trends in electronic Communications”                by Sri .P. Kalee Prasad, Senior Engineer,
     Doordharshan kendra, Vijayawada.
               In this session all the
students of III B.Sc M.E.Comp and  II M.Sc.Physics
participated. He has explained the modern techniques and the
frequency   spectrum used for the propagation of waves
in communication. The students were highly benefited by this  lecture.
- On 20th August 2016 the
     department of Physics and Electronics has organised  a Guest lecture
     on “Basics of
     Entrepreneurship” by Dr.P.Paul Divakar, Lecturer in physics ,
     Sir C.R.R College, Eluru in Media
     centre at 12 noon. All the students of IIB.Sc.M.E.Comp and
     IIB.Sc.M.P.Comp and M.Sc.Physics  have participated in this.This
     lecture threw light on precautions to be taken to be an enterprenuer.
 
- On 20th August 2016 the
     department of Physics and Electronics has organised  a Guest lecture

     Fuel Complex, Hyderabad, has addressed P.G. Science students & Final
     year B.Sc M.P.C students. He has enlightened the students on different
     research activities which could be taken up by PG Physics & Chemistry
     students in various research organizations of DAE. His lecture was focused
     on the different job avenues available in the field of DAE for PG Physics
     & Chemistry students.

- On 28th January 2017 department of Physics and Electronics organized a guest lecturer on “Space Technology and its Applications for National Development” by Dr.Y.V.N. Krishna Murthy, Director NRSC/ISRO, Hyderabad.
- A guest lecture on “World of Electronic Instrumentation” has been organised by the Department of Physics and Electronics on 16th June 2017 at 2:00PM in the Media centre. The resource person for this is Dr. P. Bhanu Prasad, Chief Scientist, Project Director, CEERI, Pilani, India.In this session he has enlightened the students on various Electronic Instrumentation used in Mushroom Cultivation, Tea Industry, RH measurement, Milk adulteration detection system, Sugar cane Industry etc. He also gave the information about various student projects, career opportunities in CEERI and CSIR to the students and the faculty. About 125 students of III B.Sc, MPC, III B.Sc MEC and II B.Sc MEC have attended this session and they were benefited from this session.
